During the week from 21 – 25 March, 2022 Czech University of LifeSciences, Prague hosted visit from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.

During the week from 21 – 25 March, 2022 Czech University of LifeSciences, Prague hosted visit from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Agrinatura secretariat is based at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at CZU and with the Partners from PSU we have long-term collaboration. This long-term cooperation was build thourgh projects such as: SIMPLE or PISAI where Agrinatura was full or associated partner. During the visit of delegates from the Prince of Songkla University: Vice-President Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Assistant to the President Dr. Wongkot Phuphumirat and Faculty of Natural Resources: Assistant to the Dean Dr. Rungrat Sae Yang, Dr. Pongpachara Tarasook, and Dr. Chutima Tantikitti – coordinator of EU projects and cooperation future collaboration jointly with Agrinatura were discussed. Amongst others possibility of Summer school, online teaching and new project development were explored.

The output of the meetings with CZU will lead to a double degree master’s study programme (DDMP) in International Cooperation in Agriculture and Rural Development focused on students and staff mobilities, academic and scientific collaboration, and the organization of summer schools.

This event enriched the internationalisation activities of Agrinatura and in the future will lead to more new opportunities in the field of research and education.
