SIMPLE – Support of International Platform Merging Labour and Education

 

 

final conference started today 27th August at Faculty of Fisheries within the partner university Kasetsart University (KU)

 

 

SIMPLE project goal was an encouragement of cooperation of academic sector (HEIs) with professional sector in the area of agriculture and life sciences in selected Asian countries (Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand), leading to an enhanced employability of those universities’ alumni. Agriantura is associated partner of the project participated on many Summer Schools within the project.

Conference started by pre-conference meeting on Monday 26th August by intorduction of  Dr. Sukkrit Nimitkul (KU) and Dr. Petra Chaloupkova (CULS – Czech University of Life Sciences). Within the meeting was finalised the program of the conference and discussed what have been done within the project and what can be still done in the future.

Final conference started by welcoming word of the project coordinator Dr. Petra Chaloupkova (CULS) and representatives of the KU – Dr. Poonpipope Kasemsap and Dr. Sukkrit Nimitkul emphasizes great cooperation within the project and project partners. Also they highlited wish for future collaboration.

The morning session started by overview of the project activites and lessons learnt. Followed by afternoon presenatiton of experiences from ech partner university – Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS); University of Natura Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU); Ghent University, Belgium; Royal University of Agriculture (RUA); University of Battambang (UBB) Cambodia; Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Tadulako University, Indonesia; Kasetsart University (KU); Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand. Professional sector was also invited to present their point of view on the cooperation. Conference was concluded by the words of conlusion and recommendations with the message for the future.
