Do you have what it takes to make an impact on global food and nutrition security? We are looking for exceptional candidates to help drive forward our work to improve the lives of poor people.

The Natural Resources Institute (NRI) of the University of Greenwich, UK, carries out specialised research, teaching, training and consultancy with a focus on food, agriculture, environment and sustainable livelihoods.

NRI is currently expanding its research to address food and nutrition security, especially in Africa. This expansion, called the Food and Nutrition Security Initiative (FaNSI) (see www.nri.org/FanSI), is funded by UKRI’s Research England under the ‘Expanding Excellence in England’ (E3) scheme. Investment will be across four specific areas:

  • Climate Change, Agriculture and Natural Resources
  • Sustainable Agricultural Intensification
  • Food Loss and Waste
  • Food Systems for Improved Nutrition

General queries should be sent to nri-info@gre.ac.uk. Contacts are given for each specific role. Please do not send in speculative CVs for these posts because they will not be considered. All applications must be made through the online application forms addressing the selection criteria. Applicants should click through to the advertisement on the University website for further details of each post and application form. Each post listing has contact people at NRI for any queries.
