Food 2030: towards sustainable agri-food systems organized by one of Agrinatura member organization – University of  Hohenheim is coming soon!

The date of the international congress Food 2030: towards sustainable agri-food systems is just around the corner.

On 5-6 September 2018 the University of Hohenheim is inviting you to get to know and discuss the European Research Policy Food 2030, which will be one of the research areas within Horizon Europe.

The way we eat, how our food is being produced, processed and traded has serious adverse effects on our natural environment and climate, on food security and human health. Most of our present food systems are far from being sustainable and resilient putting future generations at risk.

 

Discuss with us the way forward to transform food systems in the areas of:

 

a) health and nutrition,

b) resilience, adaptation and sustainable intensification of food production systems and

c) bioeconomy and food production.
