New FAO elearning course: “Introduction to the Farmer Field School Approach”

The FAO elearning Academy is extremely pleased to announce the publication of the course entitled: “Introduction to the Farmer Field School Approach” developed jointly by the FAO Plant Production and Protection Division (NSP) and FAO elearning Academy.

The FAO elearning Academy is extremely pleased to announce the publication of the course entitled: “Introduction to the Farmer Field School Approach” developed jointly by the FAO Plant Production and Protection Division (NSP) and FAO elearning Academy.

The course was designed collaboratively and with contribution of IFAD, African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS), Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Resilient Food Systems Hub.

The course, that is also certified through the online digital badge system, is now available online, free of charge, as a global public good, through the FAO elearning Academy: https://elearning.fao.org/course/view.php?id=724

This is again a perfect example of excellent collaboration between a number of partner institutions, and I would like to express my appreciation, for the hard work, high level of professionalism and dedication to Anne Sophie Poisot, Susanne Philipps, Jaap Van de Pol from FAO-NSP’s side, and from the FAO elearning Academy’s side Maxime Robin, for the excellent Instructional Design, Giulia Fanelli, for the courseware development and Peter Bruggeling for the coordination of the activities.
