AGRINATURA was represented by Torsten Berg from Aarhus University, Denmark, at GCHERA Annual Meeting in Nanjing, China, October 20 – 22, 2013. This meeting included GCHERA World Agriculture Prize Ceremony, international seminar on Education and Innovation in Agriculture and Life Sciences and GCHERA Board for an Extraordinary General Assembly.
GCHERA World Dialogue Programme on 20 and 21 October 2013 & Call for Case Study presentations
– Universities as Entrepreneurs for Sustainable Rural Development focuse on enhancing the education curriculum of universities of agricultural and life sciences to deliver graduates who have the entrepreneurial skills to support the development of small and medium enterprises in the rural environment linked with the agricultural food chain.
Each GCHERA Higher Education Association was invited to make a presentation of case studies from their association members of how universities are developing entrepreneurial skills through the curriculum.

GCHERA Board Extraordinary General Assembly 22 October 2013
– There was a meeting of the GCHERA Board for an Extraordinary General Assembly on 22 October 2013, at Nanjing Agricultural University, China, from 08.30 to 9.00, on the occasion of the Ceremony for the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize and World Dialogue Seminar (see http://wap.njau.edu.cn/).
The purpose of this extraordinary meeting was to approve a proposal for the amendment of the GCHERA Statutes.
