NEW ERASMUS MUNDUS PROJECT EURASIA 2: STUDENT AND STAFF EXCHANGES

EURASIA 2 is new Erasmus Mundus programme coordinated by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Institute of Tropics and Subtropics).Themain objective isto contribute to the promotion of the European system of higher education world-wide and to strengthen the existing network of co-operation among universities in Asia and Europe by expanding their experience in student and staff exchanges among the partner’s institutions.

In total 120 mobility flows are planned during this project from Asian institutions to EU. The planned exchange activities and mobility flows involve staff and students representing all levels of the participating institutions: Bachelor, Master, Doctorate, and Post-doctorate as well as Academic staff.

The scholarships cover actual travel costs (1 round-ticket), health insurance and monthly subsistence. The call for candidates was opened on 22^nd October 2010 with deadline for application in December 2010. Selection process of candidates and personal interviews at the Asian universities will be organized in December (2010), January and February (2011).
