An Afternoon of Storytelling by Researchers: Inspiring stories of African Agriculture

Join us on December 3, 2021 from 1400hrs EAT for an interactive virtual storytelling session with leading African experts on food security issues ranging from soil fertility to seed systems and plant protection.

With stories ranging from a soil scientist’s realisation of the challenges posed by soil infertility to a biotechnologist’s quest to improve planting material for her country’s production system, these African researchers will share personal stories of working to accelerate agricultural production for the continent.

The speakers include accomplished African researchers who have participated in career acceleration fellowships offered by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD).
