Agrinatura and EFARD representatives participated at workshop held at IFAD, Rome on 18 -19 March.

The workshop was held to discuss proposed activities under one of the two components of Pillar 2 of the EC DEVCO-funded Development Smart Innovation through Research in Agriculture (DeSIRA) programme.

This component is called Science-Led and Climate-Relevant Agricultural Transformation in Africa (SISTA) and aims to improve the capacities of regional and sub-regional agricultural research and extension agencies in sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen and support their agricultural knowledge and innovation partners.

Agrinatura was represented by vice-president Tim Chancellor at the workshop.
