The profiles requested are:
1) Economista agrícola
Será un experto/a sénior con un amplio conocimiento y experiencia en el análisis de cadenas de valor, desde el punto de vista económico. Podrá realizar un análisis financiera e económica de la cadena (y su sub-sistemas) y de sus actores, como especificado en la caja de herramientas VCA4D. Podrá realizar un análisis funcional completo con el aporto de sus colegas. Experiencia específica en análisis económica de cadenas de valor agrícola en países en desarrollo será una ventaja.Se requiere experiencia en la cadena de valor del banano. El conocimiento sobre Republica Dominicana será apreciado.Será valorada la experiencia en análisis económicos sobre los sistemas y certificaciones de Comercio Justo. Se considerará una ventaja si el experto tuviera experiencia en relacionarse con los actores (tanto públicos como privados) y/o en el análisis de políticas públicas relacionadas al sector. El Economista coordinará y consolidará el Análisis Funcional, incluyendo los aportes del equipo de expertos.El/ella consolidará un informe sobre el Análisis Funcional y Económico que serán incluidos en el informe final.Una formación colectiva o por lo menos una introducción individual al software de AFA se hará al economista antes de la primera misión. En los casos que el entrenamiento no pueda hacerse antes de la primera misión, se hará antes de la segunda misión.El experto ayudará al líder del equipo a formular un resumen ejecutivo y conclusiones que combinen los resultados de los diversos análisis para responder a las preguntas de encuadre y finalizar el informe (releer, dar formato al informe …).
2) Experto social
Será un experto/a sénior con amplio conocimiento y experiencia en temas sociales relacionados con la cadena de valor en los países en desarrollo (igualdad de género, inclusión social, capital social, condiciones laborales, condiciones de vida, derechos a la tierra y al agua, seguridad alimentaria y nutricional etc..) . Se requiere experiencia en al menos uno/dos de estos dominios y tendrá capacidad para entender y manejar los otros. Una experiencia específica en el análisis del sector agrícola en los países en desarrollo será una ventaja. Se requiere experiencia en análisis sociales de cadenas de valor del banano. El conocimiento de la República Dominicana es indispensable. Se considerará una ventaja si el experto tuviera experiencia en relacionarse con los actores (tanto públicos como privados) y/o en el análisis de políticas públicas relacionadas al sector.
El/ella elaborará un informe sobre el Análisis Social que será incluido en el informe final, basándose sobre el completamiento del Perfil Social.
El experto social podrá seguir una formación básica sobre el cómo establecer el “perfil social” conforme a la metodología VCA4D establecida, antes de la primera misión.
El experto ayudará al líder del equipo a formular un resumen ejecutivo y conclusiones que combinen los resultados de los diversos análisis para responder a las preguntas de encuadre y finalizar el informe (releer, dar formato al informe …).
3) Experto en medio ambiente
El/ella será un experto sénior con amplio conocimiento y experiencia en el Análisis del Ciclo de Vida (ACV).Se apreciará la experiencia en el análisis de la cadena de valor en países en desarrollo.Se requiere experiencia en cadenas de valor del banano.El conocimiento de la República Dominicana será apreciado.Utilizará de preferencia el software SimaPro para el ACV.Elaborará un informe sobre el Análisis Ambiental que será incluido en el informe final.El experto ayudará al líder del equipo a formular un resumen ejecutivo y conclusiones que combinen los resultados de los diversos análisis para responder a las preguntas de encuadre y finalizar el informe (releer, dar formato al informe …).
4) Experto nacional
Será especialista de la cadena de valor del banano en República Dominicana.Se requiere un conocimiento amplio sobre las instituciones nacionales (técnicas, económicas y políticas) y de los actores involucrados (públicos y privados) en el ámbito agrícola, y más específicamente vinculados a la cadena del banano en República Dominicana.Al comienzo del estudio, proporcionará informaciones generales sobre la cadena de valor, identificando a los actores clave y la información de relevancia que será utilizada posteriormente en el análisis. Ayudará a seleccionar los datos más relevantes de las fuentes disponibles, y a aclarar incoherencias para mejorar la coherencia del análisis. Facilitará el acceso a la información y completará la recopilación de datos según las líneas establecidas conjuntamente con el Líder de Equipo.
