Publication launch Innovative gender practices for rural transformation: lessons from Brazil and Uruguay, to be held on June 11, at 11h (GMT-3)/16h (CET).
The publication presents best practices on rural development led by women in the context of IFAD-supported projects in Brazil and Uruguay. These initiatives led to transformative and long-lasting results and contributed to the strengthening of local public policies and economic growth. Using very few resources and focusing on agroecological and inclusive production methods, these women have become models in their communities and beyond. The publication is available fordownload here in English and, soon in Portuguese and Spanish.
The webinar will also serve as an introduction of LAC Division’s new Gender Strategy and will be held in English. Simultaneous translation into Portuguese and Spanish will be available on Zoom.
