Patrik Okori

 

Genna Tesdall

Genna Tesdall (she/her) is an agriculture systems thinker taking on projects to sustain the environment and people, now as the director of YPARD. She strives to be a servant-leader to foster equality between generations (and all delimiters of privilege).  Before joining YPARD, she was the federal agricultural policy officer at the German Rural Youth Association (Bund der Deutschen Landjugend) (2020). As a Fulbright Researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin (2018-19), she focused on youth involvement in agricultural policy, and was the former president (2013-14) of the International Association of Agriculture and Related Sciences Students (IAAS). She is a graduate of the global oriented Iowa State (2015) and Penn State Universities (2018) with a M.Sc. in Plant Pathology and International Agriculture and Development.

 

Anabella B. Tulin, PhD.

Dr. Anabella B. Tulin, is a University Professor and currently the Dean of Graduate Office at the Visayas State University in Baybay City, Philippines. She is a recipient of numerous awards, both locally and internationally. She was awarded the SEARCA Regional Professorial Chair Award as an Outstanding Southeast Asian Expert who championed inclusive and sustainable agricultural and rural development in Southeast Asia. She was conferred the 2022 UPAA Distinguished Alumni Award for Poverty Alleviation and Human Development for her valuable efforts in helping poor but deserving students pursue graduate studies through the offering of scholarships. In addition, she is one of the winners of the 2022 Regional Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award Individual Category for CSC Search for Outstanding Government Workers in the Philippines.

 

We would like to invite you to participate in the 2nd Agrinatura Conference during this year’s General Assembly at Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague.

This conference will be a one-day event as a part of the Agrinatura General Assembly meeting, with the aim to engage and showcase the work of member institutions. This conference is free of charge and the only requirement is Membership of Agrinatura.

On behalf of the Agrinatura Research Working Group, we would like to invite you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation (10 min with slides) or a poster of your research or project based on the following topic:

  • Challenges and opportunities for youth involvement in Food Systems Evolution
  • Social innovations for Food Systems Transition
  • Implementation of technical innovations in Agroecological practices

We are particularly looking for presentations showing how scientific partnership within Agrinatura and other partners helps to foster innovation, institutional changes and enabling policies that are drivers for transformation

Please submit your contribution by April 10 April 20, 2023. Submission should include your contact information, title, and a max 300 word abstract. Send it by email to communication@agrinatura-eu.eu.

The accepted short oral or poster presentations will be announced by April 21.
