NRF (Nutrition Research Facility; 2020–2026)

The Nutrition Research Facility (NRF) is funded by the European Union, and operated by Agrinatura. The facility aims to provide improved knowledge and evidence for policy and programme design, management and monitoring & evaluation in order to reach better nutrition outcomes. It operates by:

  • stimulating the demand for scientific input from decision-makers (e.g. via workshops, consultations, participatory workshops).
  • bringing evidence through research and analyses (e.g. via systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, epidemiological studies, economic studies, institutional analyses).
  • providing expertise for the Monitoring-Evaluation of policies and programmes (e.g. via theories of change, impact pathways, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks and support, evaluation designs, baseline assessments, capacity development activities).
  • sharing knowledge with decision-makers, and developing their capacities (e.g. mentoring, events, policy briefs, context-sensitive recommendations).
