Welcome to the 3^rdInternational Conference on Agriculture and Life Science (ICOALSIII 2021), Tirana, Albania. ICOALS is one of the leading international conferences in the Western Balkans for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Agriculture and Life Sciences. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Agriculture, Life Sciences, Economics and Rural Development and related issues.

ICOALS III will address current challenges in agricultural systems in terms of the competitiveness of rural economies and rural development, the introduction of innovative tools and strategies regarding plant protection, environment, agroforestry, animal health and human welfare and digitalized farm management, natural resources for increased and sustainable productivity.

ICOALS III is striving to strengthen education, research and advisory institutions/bodies to face the actual challenges such as globalization, climate change, loss of biodiversity, rural and local development, food safety in accordance with the sustainable use of natural resources. The conference will focus on synergies between all stakeholders and all aspects of the agricultural sector development. The future innovative role and potential of the university as a center of excellence will be addressed by highlighting the wide range of services, areas of competence and capacities provided in agricultural and related field of research and knowledge transfer as well as the impact of the university towards sustained growth and job creation in rural areas and along the agricultural value chains.
