The European Alliance on Agricultural knowledge for Development

Join us and be part of a real-life educational opportunity on sustainability and climate change. You will work in interdisciplinary teams with European and Asian participants, farmers, and stakeholders in the Philippines to explore the sustainability of different agricultural systems.

Vienna university BOKU have 8 slots open for selected students of all study programs at Agrinatura member universities.

The Bicol Region in the Philippines is increasingly affected by climate change – floods, droughts, typhoons, and erosion challenge the resilience and sustainability of agro-food systems. We will assess the current state of agro-food systems considering ecological, social and economic dimensions. Together with local stakeholders, we will then explore pathways for the future that could strengthen resilience and sustainability.

The summer school is part of the Food Security & Climate Change initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
